I am not sure why it has never occured to me before to post about my bulletin boards that I do for my kids school. I love the creativity that can come about. I love involving the kids with the boards. They seem to really enjoy seeing what new things can be created. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them...
This one is title "Cowboy Charm School". I went into the classroom and took photos of each child. I then gave them each a unique outlaw name like "David the Wild Mathwhiz". This is probably my favorite bulletin board I have ever done and it was easy.
I created shelves from old boxes (Costco). I then went to the dollar store and got solar flowers. You know the ones that move with the sunlight. The kids really loved this board. The title is "Teach me and Watch me Grow."
This one is titled "Look who's reading a good book!" Each owl is holding a book and it has each childs name on it.
Dr. Seuss, of course! Each child got a Dr. Seuss hat with a bookmark and a pencil. The title is a Dr. Seuss quote, "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and
those who matter don't mind."
This snowglobe board is titled "Snow Much Fun!". I went in and had each of the kids paint a ornament to keep after the board came down.
This board is a giant crossword puzzle. Each clue is a unique clue about each child. They got to fill in their own name. The pages around it are pages from word game books from the dollar store. I left pens, pencils and highlighters on the board for all the kids from the school to get involved.
